Douglas Electrical Components, a Portfolio Company of Astor Place Holdings, Acquires Electronic Products, Inc.

RANDOLPH, NJ—Douglas Electrical Components (“DEC” or “Douglas”), a manufacturer of epoxybased hermetic interconnects, has announced the acquisition of Electronic Products, Inc. (“EPI”).

Established in 1960, EPI designs and manufactures ceramic and glass-to-metal hermetic packaging. The Company is headquartered in Newburyport, Massachusetts and provides packaging solutions for space, aerospace and defense and high-reliability applications.

Chris Mosher, President of EPI said, “Douglas shares our commitment to developing innovative solutions for our customers with excellent service and quality, and we are excited to join the team. I know EPI’s customers will be well served by the access to a wider breadth of hermetic solutions.” EPI will remain in its current location and continue to be led by Chris Mosher and the existing management team.
